Red Leader designed the Freud Museum website, online shop and photo library.
The Freud Museum is in North London, close to Finchley Road tube station, and Camden Arts Centre. The museum was home to Sigmund Freud and his daughter Anna and houses Freud's collection of objects, books, and rugs. As well as being a centre for research, it holds contemporary art exhibitions, events, and conferences. It's a fascinating visit.
This was an enormous job, as the previous website had grown very organically and had been managed by a couple of members of staff, as very much as a personal project. A major part of the redesign was spent organising the content into a rational and easily accessible format for the visitors. Visitors are encouraged to explore Freud's fascinating collecting of objects, via the different object which appears in the design of each page.
